Ricky + Star: A Modern Love Story in Just 7 Weeks

Some weddings take a year to plan. Ricky and Star gave us just seven weeks, and without hesitation we made it all came together like it was always meant to be. From the very first call and venue tour, we vibed and could feel their energy. They knew what they wanted: a wedding that felt modern, intentional, and deeply personal. We quickly got to work creating design boards, locking in our vendor team, and building out the logistics that would make their day run seamlessly.

The ceremony took place inside our historic venue in a half-up, half-down layout, allowing us to keep part of the space pre-set for the reception while creating an intimate and romantic ceremony setup in the front. The aisle was lined with glowing candles, leading to mirrored floral pillars topped with white roses and cascading orchids, all beautifully designed by Flower Guy Bron. The soft lighting and florals added a timeless elegance to the fall setting.

Star and Ricky exchanged vows in front of their closest friends and family, with Ciera Pope officiating the ceremony and guiding them through heartfelt and personal words and even a few laughs. The design was black-and-white palette with gold accents, which felt sophisticated and clean, and a true complement to Copper Hall. The vibes and decor was elevated without being overdone.

Following the ceremony, guests transitioned into the reception seating as we revealed the back half of the space already styled and ready for celebration. With modern details, warm lighting, and a layout designed for connection, the evening flowed perfectly.

Being able to bring this all together in such a short amount of time was a reminder of why we love what we do.
