It was the perfect summer day in Richmond, Virginia when we had the joy of hosting Mary and Ezra’s wedding reception at Copper Hall. Planned and designed by the incredible team at By Love Events, every detail of the evening felt intentional, polished, and full of heart.

After a beautiful ceremony offsite, guests arrived at Copper Hall ready to celebrate. The space was thoughtfully transformed with a moody yet, summer inspired palette, modern floral tablescapes, and custom details that perfectly reflected Mary and Ezra’s style. One of the most memorable moments was a surprise live ballerina performance — a unique and graceful touch that had everyone in awe and truly set the tone for the night.

From the moment guests arrived, the space was full of warmth and intentional design. The reception featured a soft and romantic color palette of blush and peach tones, paired with sleek rented black chairs that added a modern contrast and elevated the overall look. Lush florals, candlelight, and carefully curated tablescapes created an inviting atmosphere that felt both elegant and personal.

Mary and her bridal party spent the morning getting ready in our on-site Airbnb, making for a relaxed and convenient start to the day. With natural light and plenty of space, it was the perfect backdrop for quiet moments, glam time, and pre-ceremony photos before heading to the venue.

The evening flowed effortlessly, from cocktail hour through heartfelt toasts and a packed dance floor. Every moment reflected Mary and Ezra’s thoughtful vision, love of their family, and the support of their happily ever after.
