Owner & Founder

Ciera Pope

Ciera Pope is the Founder & Owner of Copper Hall RVA, where she has combined her passion for hospitality, design, and meaningful celebrations to create one of Richmond's most distinctive event venues. Since opening Copper Hall in 2022, Ciera has welcomed hundreds of celebrations through its historic doors, creating a space where couples, families, and organizations can gather for life's most memorable moments.

With more than a decade of experience in the wedding and events industry, Ciera has planned and produced well over 150 weddings and special events throughout Virginia, Maryland and beyond. Before opening Copper Hall, she spent over 12 years as a Senior Wedding Planner and Designer with The Hive Wedding Collective, earning a reputation for her thoughtful approach, creative problem-solving, and unwavering commitment to exceptional client experiences.

In addition to leading Copper Hall, Ciera is a licensed Civil Celebrant, offering personalized wedding ceremonies for couples both at Copper Hall and beyond. Known for creating ceremonies that are heartfelt, engaging, and uniquely reflective of each couple's story, she believes every ceremony should feel as meaningful as the marriage it celebrates.

A graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University with a degree in Merchandising, Ciera's career has always centered around creating memorable experiences. She helped produce the first fashion show at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts and previously served on the Board of RVA Fashion Week, experiences that continue to influence her eye for design and event production.

Today, Ciera oversees every aspect of Copper Hall's vision—from business strategy and venue operations to client experience and vendor partnerships. Whether welcoming couples for a wedding, hosting community events, or collaborating with local creatives, her goal remains the same: to create an intentional, beautiful space where unforgettable memories are made.

Taylor Jones

Lead Event Coordinator & Operations Assistant

Taylor Jones serves as the Lead Event Coordinator & Operations Assistant at Copper Hall RVA, where she combines her passion for events, communications, and exceptional client service to help create seamless and memorable celebrations.

Originally from Fredericksburg, Virginia, Taylor moved to Richmond to attend Virginia Commonwealth University, where she earned her bachelor's degree in Public Relations and Communications. Since joining Copper Hall, she has played an integral role in coordinating more than 50+ weddings and special events, while also supporting wedding production through The Hive Wedding Collective. Her experience spans weddings, corporate events, social celebrations, and intimate gatherings, giving her a well-rounded understanding of every detail that goes into a successful event.

Beyond Copper Hall, Taylor is the founder of TaylorMadePR, a creative agency specializing in public relations, event planning, and brand experiences. She has worked with local organizations and events including Virginia Swim Week, artist management, and fashion productions, helping brands connect with their audiences through strategic storytelling and thoughtful execution.

At Copper Hall, Taylor oversees event logistics, client communication, venue operations, and day-of coordination support, ensuring every celebration runs smoothly from the first walkthrough to the final sendoff. Known for her calm demeanor, organization, and attention to detail, she is dedicated to creating an experience where clients feel supported, confident, and able to fully enjoy one of life's most meaningful moments.
